TREASURE HUNT
Gather round mateys…
Listen to the exciting yarn of Captain Lucky Lucerne, a pirate who was run aground in the Savannah River some 300 years ago this year by a British frigate which concluded a wild chase up and down the Carolina coast. You’ll hear about the treasure booty he hid before he was actually captured by the British and was hung by the yard arm on his own pirate ship. Discover how before the noose was placed around his neck, he revealed there was a hidden treasure booty he hid so well the damnable Redcoats could never find it! He swore that 300 years hence he would return in spirit to claim that hidden booty.
BUT even ghosts forget. Upon his spirit return the first of the year he realized he hid it so well even his ghostly specter can’t even recall where it is and he has been wandering the squares of Savannah in a vain search ever since Arghh- what kind of nonsense bilge is that!
